Job Title: Front End (Cage Cashier and Front Desk)

Position Summary:

The Front End position is comprised of two different jobs: Cage Cashier and Front Desk. These two roles are uniquely different but work hand in hand with each other in assisting the function of the club. In this role, employees will be required to do both jobs. The Cage Cashier serves as the financial hub of the poker club, handling transactions with accuracy and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing cash, chips, and other financial instruments while adhering to strict rules and maintaining the highest level of integrity. The Front Desk controls the movement of players throughout the room. This role involves hosting members, taking payments from customers, answering phones and selling merchandise.

Key Cage Responsibilities:

· Buy/Sell Cash/Chips with players and employees.

· Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transaction summaries to ensure accuracy.

· Verify customer identification for large transactions in compliance with Title 31 requirements.

· Maintain a secure and organized environment to safeguard funds and sensitive information.

· Collaborate with other departments, such as security and surveillance, to ensure smooth operations.

· Uphold strict compliance with company procedures and requirements.

· Register players for tournaments.

 

Key Front Desk Responsibilities:

· Greet members when they come in and leave.

· Register new members.

· Operate the cash game list.

· Process payments in Poker Atlas and the Point Of Sale system.

· Answer phone calls.

· Operate a small cash till.

· Run chips for players/dealers.

· Pickup empty chip racks.

 

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in mathematics or accounting is a plus.

· Previous experience in poker cages, cash handling, banking, or a similar role is preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Ability to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand for extended periods and handle moderate physical exertion, such as lifting up to 25 lbs.

· Comfortable working in a high-security environment with strict protocols.
