The New Year is here at the Lodge Round Rock, and the best poker club in Texas began 2025 with a big special event.
The $100K Guaranteed New Year’s Resolution tournament crowned Nate Kogel as the champion, with Kogel taking home more than $43,000 for the win.

The Lodge kicked off the new year with the aptly named $100,000 Guaranteed New Year’s Resolution tournament. A total of 993 entries registered for this multi-flight event.
Nate Kogel topped the field for the win, starting his 2025 with a $43,617 win.
Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (January 5)
The Sunday $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack played to a four-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Mahesh Rathi (1st – $3,844), Edward Soto (2nd – $2,877), Brittany Rivas (3rd – $2,632) and Kevin Perrydore (4th – $2,437).
Monday $3K Guaranteed Double Shot (December 30)
The Monday Double Shot ended with an outright winner.
Amin Berenji took down the tournament and claimed the first-place prize of $1,206. Patrick Good (2nd – $855) finished runner-up.
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (December 30)
The Monday $2K Bounty event played to a three-way ICM deal.
The top three included Walter Allan (1st – $813), B. Richardson (2nd – $798), and Wesley Ferree (3rd – $512).
Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (December 30)
