November rolled into December with another big week of multi-table tournament action in Round Rock, TX.
The usual slate of tournaments at the Lodge was augmented by the $20K Guaranteed Quarterly Mystery Bounty, one of two tournaments to clear $20,000 in prize money this week.
Let’s look at some of the big winners from Nov. 28-Dec. 4 at the Lodge:
$20K Guaranteed Quarterly Mystery Bounty (Dec. 3)
The final Quarterly Mystery Bounty of 2022 drew 209 players, and a $22,572 prize pool.
Paul Lewis (1st – $6,283) came out as the biggest winner after a seven-way ICM deal at the final table. Christopher Nabors (2nd – $3,799) and Alberto Loya (3rd – $3,799) rounded out the top three.
Other players in the deal included Andrew Kogler (4th – $3,225), Jeffrey Christensen (5th – $3,002), Anthony Calzada (6th – $2,408) and Edward Soto (7th – $2,333).
Sunday $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack Freezeout (Dec. 3)
Alex D. sported the jersey of a champion and ended up as a champion himself, taking down the Sunday $15K Freezeout. Alex took down the win over a field of 82 players for a $5,240 payday.
The prize pool for the freezeout ended up at $17,056.
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (Nov. 29)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll generated the bigges prize pool of any Lodge tournament this week.
A total of 156 players created a $24,740 prize pool after rebuys and add-ons. The final nine players agreed to an ICM chop to end the tournament.
That list of winners included Bill Cox (1st – $3,141), Jacob Steines (2nd – $3,101), Reda Maher (3rs – $3,095), Gopal Pathak (4th – $2,691), and Thuy Nguyen (5th – $2,595).
Rounding out the final nine were Tyler Bautista (6th – $2,051), Naraghi-Samini (7th – $1,796), M.C. Tyer (8th – $1,796) and Christopher Zollo (9th – $1,023).
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (Nov. 28)
David Miller, Christopher Desormeaux, and Kacey Quick chopped up the Monday $2K Bounty, with each player taking home $650.
The tournament paid six places, with the prize pool reaching $2,500.
Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (Nov. 28)
The Monday Big-O event went far past the $3,500 guarantee, as per usual. A total of 96 players pushed the final prize money to $7,368.
The tournament ended in a six-way even chop, with each of the final six taking home $1,027. That list included Katherine Mersiovsky, Matthew Myers, Kenneth Glaser, Hillel Miller, Anthony Rodrgiuez, and Andrew Robinson.
Tuesday $1K Guaranteed Over Stack (Nov. 29)
Terry Morales took the outright win in the Tuesday Over Stack, with the tournament going more than double the guarantee.
A total of 40 players came out for the event, creating a $2,320 prize pool.
Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (Nov. 30)
The Wednesday $1K Freezeout played down to an outright winner, as Michael Villalobos emerged victorious for a $1,084 payday.
The tournament paid five places, with the prize money going more than double the guarantee.
Wednesday $4K Guaranteed PLO Freeroll (Nov. 30)
The Wednesday $4K Guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event more than doubled the advertised prize money, with the final prize pool ending up at $8,040.
Chris C. took the win through a field of 60 players, going home with $2,959.
Thursday $1K Guaranteed Over Stack (Dec. 1)
The second of two weekly Over Stack tournaments saw 52 runners register, creating a prize pool of $3,016.
The final three players agreed to an ICM chop, including Michael Dulberg (1st – $797), Bruce Gilpatrick (2nd – $754), and Paul Payton (3rd – $662).
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (Dec. 2)
Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout saw 77 players create a $7,238 prize pool.
The tournament ended with a heads-up ICM chop. Terry Morales (1st – $2,200) took down the biggest share of the prize money, while Ruth Hall (2nd – $1,723) finished as the runner-up.
Austin Ladies’ Event (Dec. 3)
Rae Ann Sines emerged as the winner of the December Austin Ladies’ Event, winning $1,100 in the process.
The tournament paid five places, with a $2,850 prize pool.
Saturday $4K Guaranteed Bounty (Dec. 3)
Saturday’s $4K Bounty saw the final five players agree to an ICM deal.
That list of winners included Greg Leroy (1st – $1,050), Gerardo Avila (2nd – $1,011), Gregory Whittington (3rd – $864), Anthony Laughlin (4th – $773) and Rachel Gerren (5th – $602).
The tournament drew 50 players, creating a $4,750 prize pool.
Sunday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (Dec. 4)
The week’s tournament action finished up with a heads-up chop in the Sunday Freezeout.
Bruce Ober and Naveen Basavarajappa each took home $1,041 in the deal.
