The “Big One” Re-Entry event returned to the Lodge schedule this week, and tournament winner Sean Gillings came away with more than $13K for the first-place prize.
Gillings wasn’t the only big winner for the week of June 3-9. Let’s take a look:
$30K Guaranteed “Big One” Re-Entry (June 8)
The seasonal “Big One” re-entry tournament returned to the Lodge on June 8. A total of 158 entries created a $47,700 prize pool.
Sean Gillings topped the field, earning the first-place prize of $13,690.
Other top finishers included Preston Duron (2nd – $8,586), Karl Bein (3rd – $5,724), Joshua Beckenstein (4th – $4,054) and Bo Sung Park (5th – $2,832).
Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (June 9)
The June 2 edition of the Sunday $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack saw 136 entries compete for a $27,744 prize pool. The tournament ended with an eight-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Jordan Mandel (1st – $3,570), Jake Katzmarek (2nd – $3,440), James Spera (3rd – $3,417), Qunitin Williams (4th – $3,417) and Charles Shields (5th – $3,150).
Rounding out the final eight were Phillip Sidari (6th – $2,823), Roman Tkachenko (7th – $2,350) and Jacob Stein (8th – $1,828).
Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (June 5)
The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 56 players, and ended with a three-way ICM deal.
Paul Lewis (1st – $1,144), Brian Zaroff (2nd – $1,017), and Neal Pollack (3rd – $994) finished in the top three.
Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (June 5)
The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll played to a heads-up ICM deal.
Patrick Dougherty (1st – $2,700) went home with the first-place prize money.
Other top finishers included Jon Good (2nd – $2,034), and Siddhartha Khoudor (3rd – $1,186).
Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (June 6)
The Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH finished with a heads-up chop.
Jon Good and Howard Hammerback each took home $1,223 per the terms of the deal.
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (June 6)
The Thursday Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll drew 92 players, and played to an outright winner.
Alex Goya (1st – $3,564) took the lion’s share of the prize money and the first-place finish.
Other top finishers included Ellis Griffin (2nd – $2,210) and Tung Tran (3rd – $1,556).
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (June 7)
Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 117 players, and played to a seven-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Raymond Lee (1st – $1,847), Preston McCray (2nd – $1,685), J. Chawla (3rd – $1,485), and Jason Pete (4th – $1,394).
Rounding out the final seven were G. Scaramuzza (5th – $1,140), Eric Angrick (6th – $1,053) and Kevin Perrydore (7th – $740).
Saturday $3K Guaranteed 1×1 (June 8)
The weekly Saturday 1×1 event ended with a heads-up ICM deal.
Daniel Ruz (1st – $1,566) and R. Montesdeoca (2nd – $1,367) took the top two payout spots.
Sunday $100 Buy-In Freezeout (June 9)
The Sunday Freezeout ended with an outright winner.
Rafael Port (1st – $1,583) topped the field, with Mark Glendening (2nd – $931) finishing runner-up.
