Who Won At The Lodge from December 4-10?

The Lodge Holiday Classic Series wrapped up with the Winter Main Event awarding $90,005 to tournament champion Joel Doney.

Joel was the biggest winner of the week at the best card club in Texas, but he wasn’t the only player walking away with big prize money.

Let’s take a look at the week that was:

Winter Main Event (Nov. 26-December 4)

Joel Doney topped the field of 1,164 players in the Winter Main Event, earning a $90,005 first-place payday.

Alex Cruz (2nd – $60,128), Lazr Aj Hausman (3rd – $43,877) and Mahesh Rathi (4th – $32,846) rounded out the top four.

Winter Main Event (Nov. 26-December 4)

Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (December 5)

The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll saw 142 players compete for $21,360 in prize money. The final six players agreed to an ICM deal.

The top finishers included Terrance Sanders (1st – $3,617), Andrew Timm (2nd – $3,494), Nischal Colluru (3rd – $3,439) and Lisa Graviel (4th – $2,619).

Rounding out the top six were Andrew Harness (5th – $2,350) and Joshua Austin (6th – $1,837).

Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (December 5)

Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (December 10)

Sunday’s weekly $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack drew 79 players and a $21,250 prize pool. The tournament finished with a heads-up chop.

Kirk Middleton and Richard Walker each took home $4,431 per the terms of the deal. Other top finishers included Howard Hammerbeck (3rd – $2,219) and Beverly Lange (4th – $1,560).

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (December 4)

The Monday Big-O drew 79 players and a $6,032 prize pool, The tournament played to a heads-up chop.

Matthew Bergenty and Clemson Jasso each took home $1,663 per the terms of the deal. Other top finishers included Bradley Gordon (3rd – $832) and Casey Robbins (4th – $585).

Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (December 10)

Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (December 6)

The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 44 players and ended in a five-way ICM chop.

The top finishers included Paul Lewis (1st – $695), Michael Villalobos (2nd – $516), Sharon Barth (3rd – $446), Kiran Desai (4th – $441) and Bill Leon (5th – $374).

Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (December 6)

Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (December 6)

The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll ended in a heads-up chop.

Daniel Marin took first place and an extra $200 for a $2,200 payday. Brandon Pausa finished second for $1,989.

Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (December 6)

Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (December 7)

The Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH played to a three-way ICM chop.

Lacey Coffey (1st – $861), Pejman Dargahi (2nd – $763) and Cookie Bamuel (3rd – $593) took the top three payout spots.

Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (December 7)

Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (December 8)

Friday’s weekly $2K Guaranteed Bounty event saw 60 entries compete. 

The tournament played to an outright winner, as Juan Vela took down the $1,109 first prize.

Other top finishers included Andriy Storoshchuk (2nd – $687), and Paul Lewis (3rd – $450).

Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (December 8)

Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (December 8)

Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 94 players, and finished with a three-way ICM chop.

The final three included Rodelio Reyes (1st – $1,953), Daniel Marin (2nd – $1,735), and Andrew Tran (3rd – $1,856).

Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (December 8)

Sunday $100 Buy-In Freezeout (December 10)

The Sunday Freezeout drew 56 players for a $4,256 prize pool. The tournament ended with a three-way even chop.

Srivilliputhur, Robert Flowers, and Andriy Storoshchuk each took home $1,052 per the terms of the deal.
