The return of the $30,000 guaranteed “Big One Re-Entry” headlined the week’s tournament action at the Lodge.
That special event saw the final two players chop for more than $8,600 each. Plenty of other big winners came away from the Lodge for the week of October 9-15 as well.
Here’s a look at the week that was:
$30K Guaranteed “The Big One Re-Entry” (October 14)
The $30K Guaranteed Big One Re-Entry drew 117 entries, and ended in an even chop at the top of the payout ladder.
Nicholas Rivas and Terrance Sanders each took home $8,642 per the terms of the deal, with Rivas winning the tournament trophy.
Other top finishers included C. Aguilar (3rd – $4,659), Daniel Marin (4th – $3,379) and Gregory Shipman (5th – $2,490).
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (October 10)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll saw 150 entries compete, with the tournament playing down to an outright winner.
Sean O’Brien topped the field and secured the first-place prize of $6,995.
Other top finishers included Yong W Jo (2nd – $4,701), P. Patlolla (3rd – $3,278), and Ren He (4th – $2,288).
Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (October 8)
Sunday’s weekly $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack drew 95 players and a $19,760 prize pool. The final five players agreed to an even chop.
Lorraine Widener, Stephen Vickery, Jesse Segall, Amit Mankhand, and Jeremy Letto each earned $3,091 per the terms of the deal.
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (October 9)
The Monday Bounty event drew 47 runners, with the final five agreeing to an ICM chop.
The top three included Michael Lehner (1st – $583), Matthew Rabb (2nd – $561) and Derwin Gavin (3rd – $506).
Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH (October 10)
A total of 31 players entered the Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH event, which played to an outright winner.
Paul Lewis (1st – $807), Matthew Buchanan (2nd – $464) and Ameer Ortiz (3rd – $275) took the top three payout spots.
Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (October 11)
The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll drew 62 players and an $8,740 prize pool. The final four contenders agreed to an ICM deal.
That list included Tobias Grace (1st – $2,464), Jesse Segall (2nd – $1,887), Andrew Robinson (3rd – $1,442) and Edurado Valenzuela (4th – $1,133).
Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (October 12)
A total of 43 players entered the Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH event, with the final three agreeing to an ICM deal.
Stephan Koonan (1st – $733), Cynthia Crawford (2nd – $629) and Brandon Hulsey (3rd – $625) took the top three payout spots.
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (October 12)
The weekly Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll saw 81 runners play for $8,280 in prize money. The tournament played down to a seven-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Griffin Goss (1st – $1,531), R. Rodriguez (2nd – $1,472), Andrew Eis (3rd – $1,184), Thomas Penza (4th – $1,019) and Victor Franco (5th – $895).
Saturday $4K Guaranteed Bounty (October 14)
The Saturday night $4,000 Guaranteed Bounty event saw 61 players compete, and the final five agree to an ICM deal.
That list included Paul Sofsky (1st – $1,220), Jamal Smith (2nd – $1,125), Christopher Bess (3rd – $1,046), John Perez (4th – $949) and Walter Pucci (5th – $822).
