Who Won At The Lodge from October 2-8?

The first full week of October tournament action at the Lodge brought a full slate of big winners.

The special 10/2 Doyle Brunson Day event went far past expectations, as the $2,000 guaranteed prize pool ended up ballooning to nearly $14K. The week of Oct. 2-8 also brought the return of the $20K Quarterly Mystery Bounty event.

Let’s take a look at the week that was:

$20K Guaranteed Quarterly Mystery Bounty (October 7)

The Quarterly Mystery Bounty returned to the Lodge for the latest installment on Oct. 7

A total of 155 entries competed, and the final two players each took home $3,910 in an even chop.

Joseph Moran took down the tournament trophy, while Jamal Smith took home the biggest cut of the bounties, with $5,500 in additional bounty prize money.

$20K Guaranteed Quarterly Mystery Bounty (October 7)

Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (October 8)

Sunday’s weekly $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack drew 97 players and a $20,176 prize pool.

Tiege Mullin (1st – $5,169) and Kevin Sanders (2nd – $4,635) took down the top two money spot, followed by Telasson Eyob (3rd – $2,643).

$2K Guaranteed Doyle Brunson Day Tournament (October 2)

The Lodge celebrated Doyle Brunson Day with a special $2,000 Guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event. 

The prize pool went far beyond $2K, as 131 players contributed to $10,480 in prize money. The final three players standing agreed to an even chop.

Chancellor Walls, Thien Nguyen, and Alisa Stansbury each took home $2,115 per the terms of the deal.

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (October 2)

The Monday Bounty event drew 69 runners, with the final two agreeing to an even chop.

Antonio Cicchese and Brandon Hulsey each took home $967 per the terms of the deal.

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (October 2)

Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (October 4)

The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout ended in a four-way ICM chop.

The quartet of winners included Peter Lametta (1st – $750), Chales Nocholson (2nd – $694),  William Thomas (3rd – $400) and Steven Ward (4th – $326).

Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (October 4)

The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll drew 62 players and an $9,560 prize pool. The final four contenders agreed to an ICM deal.

That list included Jonathan Dull (1st – $2,740), Michael Sawchuk (2nd – $1,884), Alexander Baldwin (3rd – $1,569) and Kenneth Rogers (4th – $1,439).

Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (October 4)

Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (October 5)

A total of 52 players entered the Thursday $1K Guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event, and the last three players remaining agreed to an ICM deal.

That trio of winners included Paul Lewis (1st – $799), Debra Dalke (2nd – $719) and Luis Alfaro (3rd – $711).

Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (October 5)

Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (October 5)

The weekly Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll saw 97 runners play for $110,500 in prize money. The tournament played to an outright winner, with Almedin Lipjankic taking the first-place prize of $3,091.

Other top finishers included Victor Franco (2nd – $1,916), Gopal Pathak (3rd – $1,349), Ren He (4th – $978) and Nicholas Tanner (5th – $721).

Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (October 5)

Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (October 6)

Friday’s weekly $2,K Guaranteed Bounty event saw 43 entries compete, and the final four agree to an ICM deal.

The winner’s list included Sean Kesler (1st – $712), Nathan Peel (2nd – $466), Kiran Desai (3rd – $412) and Richard Case (4th – $356).

Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (October 6)

Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (October 6)

Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 90 players, and finished with a four-way even chop.

Naveen Basavarajappa, Cameron Mixson, Derwin Gavin, and Se Chun Pak each took home $1,582 per the terms of the deal.

Saturday $4K Guaranteed Bounty (October 7)

The Saturday night $4,000 Guaranteed Bounty event saw 52 players compete, and the final four agree to an ICM deal.

That list included Joseph Mitchell (1st – $1,272), Walter Pucci (2nd – $1,216), Clifton Ulen (3rd – $963), Cameron Daniel (4th – $963).

Saturday $4K Guaranteed Bounty (October 7)

Sunday Big Bet Bounty NLH/PLO (October 8)

The weekly mixed NLH/PLO Big Bet Bounty event saw 43 players compete for $5,160 in prize pool plus bounties.

The top finishers included Edward Soto (1st – $966), Roy Zingelmann (2nd – $761), and Anthony Laughlin (3rd – $688).
