The week of October 14-20 saw the return of the monthly Art of Poker special tournament.
A couple of the Lodge legends chopped up the top two payout spots, as Kamran Dargahi and Juan Samano Reyes each took home more than $9K

$40K Guaranteed “The Art of Poker” (October 18)
The $40K Guaranteed “Art of Poker” special event returned to the Lodge Round Rock on October 19. The tournament played to a heads-up even chop.
Kamran Dargahi and Juan Samano Reyes chopped up the top two payout spots for $9,340 each.
Other top finishers included James Galloway (3rd – $4,800) and William Cox (4th – $3,400).
Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (October 20)
The Sunday $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack played to a heads-up ICM deal.
The top finishers included Alex Damico (1st – $4,424), Frank Sill (2nd – $4,066), Brand Williams (3rd – $2,145) and Sean Murphy (4th – $1,530).
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (October 15)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll drew 178 players for a $26,400 prize pool. The tournament played to a seven-way ICM deal.
Lang Anderson (1st – $3,953) took the first-place prize, followed by Keith Breachi (2nd – $3,516), Ryan Shaw (3rd – $3,251), and Adam Ramirez (4th – $3,165).
Colby Rowe (5th – $2,500), Richard Dull (6th – $2,420) and Thuy Nguyen (7th – $2,420) rounded out the top seven.
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (October 14)
The Monday $2K Bounty event drew 41 entries and played to an outright winner.
Aaron Carmona (1st – $889) took home the first-place prize. Kevin Greenly (2nd – $523) finished second.
Tuesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (October 15)
The Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH played to a four-way ICM deal.
The final four included Brittney Cammack (1st – $589), Lee Webb (2nd – $538), Michael Lehner (3rd – $488) and Sharon Barth (4th – $361).
Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (October 16)
The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout played to a five-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Steven Ward (1st – $554), Archie Gregory (2nd – $497), William Thomas (3rd – $430), Bill Leon (4th – $425) and Shelia Hetzel (5th – $350).
Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (October 16)
The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll played to a heads-up even chop.
Adam Fillman and Jason Burruss each took home $2,303 per the terms of the deal. Jimmy Courville (3rd – $1,203) took third place.
Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (October 17)
The Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH finished with a three-way ICM deal.
Michael Villalobos (1st – $750), Kamran Dargahi (2nd – $607), and Steven Ward (3rd – $443) took the top three payout spots.
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (October 18)
Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 77 players and played to a heads-up ICM deal.
The top two included Nathan Peel (1st – $2,042) and John Gideon (2nd – $1,750).
Sunday $100 Buy-In Freezeout (October 20)
The Sunday Freezeout played to a four-way ICM deal.
The top four included Eric Becker (1st – $833), Matthew Haase (2nd – $723), Clifton Kettler (3rd – $475) and James Davalt (4th – $452).
