The second week of November felt like prime tournament season at the Lodge, with big payouts abounding.
The Big One Re-Entry event highlighted the week’s action, and sent five players home with $5K-plus paydays.
Here’s a look at the week that was for Nov. 6-12:
$30K Guaranteed “Big One” Re-Entry (November 9)
The seasonal “Big One” re-entry tournament returned to the Lodge on Nov. 9, and there were certainly some big winners at the top of the payout ladder.
Gawain Visagie topped the field of 138 entries, earning the first-place prize of $7,482.
Other top finishers included Richard Hirsch (2nd – $6,255), Julie Tumlinson (3rd – $5,916), Stuart Dunlop (4th – $5,450) and Jacob Albarado (5th – $6,556)
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (November 7)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll saw 165 entries compete, and the final six players agreed to an ICM deal.
The top finishers included MC Tyer (1st – $4,011), Alex Damico (2nd – $3,732), Cody Culp (3rd – $3,228) and Chen Sun (4th – $2,649).
Jacob Tourville (5th – $2,201) and Joseph Williams (6th – $1,857) rounded out the top six.
Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (November 12)
Sunday’s weekly $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack drew 77 players, and finished with a four-way ICM chop.
The final four included William Brown (1st – $3,770), Willis Prieto (2nd – $3,459), Lorraine Widener (3rd – $2,536) and Andrew Unnasch (4th – $2,523).
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (November 6)
The Monday Bounty event drew 46 runners, who competed for $3,496 in prize money plus bounties. The final five players agreed to an ICM chop.
That list of winners included Chester Williams (1st – $667), Tyler McDaniel (2nd – $467), Linoy Mathen (3rd – $394), Benjamin Riley (4th – $377) and Mark Glendening (5th – $341).
Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (November 6)
The Monday Big-O drew 85 players, and played to an outright winner.
Tobias Grace topped the field, securing $1,993 for the victory.
Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (November 8)
The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 38 runners, and ended in a three-way ICM chop.
The trio of winners included Steven Ward (1st – $683), Jonathan Clay (2nd – $642), and Mark Glendening (3rd – $569).
Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (November 8)
The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll ended with a three-way ICM deal.
The big winners included Hakim Tirta (1st – $2,367), Theophilus Scales (2nd – $2,035), and Gary McRae (3rd – $1,776).
Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (November 9)
The Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH event drew 53 players, and played to a heads-up chop.
Ronald Holland (1st – $1,036) and Daniel Alarcon (2nd – $800) took the top two payout spots.
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (November 9)
The Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll drew an even 100 players, with $13,020 in prize money on the line. The tournament played down to a five-way ICM chop.
The top five included Huaping Huang (1st – $2,250), Kamran Dargahi (2nd – $2,208), Joshua Hogan (3rd – $2,107), Bala Talasila (4th – $1,865) and Arasb Rahmani (5th – $1,752).
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (November 10)
Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 115 entries, and finished with a five-way ICM deal.
Sherrill Lindsey took down the first-place prize of $2,202.
Kevin Duberstein (2nd – $1,740), Jovon Burrell (3rd – $1,680), Jesse Scanlan (4th – $1,499), and Peter Galan (5th – $1,332) rounded out the top five.
$3K Guaranteed Saturday 1×1 (November 11)
The weekly Saturday 1×1 event drew 67 players, and ended in a three-way ICM deal.
The top three included Steven Ward (1st – $1,423), Richard Eberhart (2nd – $1,219), and Lisa Graviel (3rd – $897).
Sunday Big Bet Bounty NLH/PLO (November 12)
The weekly mixed NLH/PLO Big Bet Bounty event saw 27 players compete.
The top finishers included Randy Walker (1st – $710), Gary McRae (2nd – $599), and Walter Pucci (3rd – $581).
