The Holiday Classic Series brought a trio of big guarantee tournaments to the Lodge floor in the week of Nov. 27 through Dec. 3.
The $50K Guaranteed 50 for 50 event crowned a $15,000 winner in Terry Morales. Morales wasn’t the only big winner coming away from the best card club in Texas this week.

HCS $50K Guaranteed 50 for 50 (December 3)
The Holiday Classic Series 50 for 50 guaranteed $50K, played to an outright winner.
Terry Morales topped the field, going home with a $15,000 first-place payday.
Other top finishers included Andrew Dennis (2nd – $9,300), Joshua Beckenstein (3rd – $6,550), Javan Nevels (4th – $4,750) and Neel Mazumdar (5th – $3,500).
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (November 28)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll saw the final six players agreed to an ICM deal.
The top finishers included Matthew Ortiz (1st – $3,402), Mario Surus (2nd – $3,162), Jonathan Lauderdale-Morrow (3rd – $2,973) and Shadi Farraj (4th – $2,389).
Rounding out the top six were Tate Tuttle (5th – $2,389) and Eric Hope (6th – $2,074).
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (November 27)
The Monday Bounty event played to a three-way ICM chop.
The top finishers included Eric Brown (1st – $674), Akshara Garner (2nd – $582) and Charles Nicholson (3rd – $439).
Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (November 27)
The Monday Big-O drew 93 players and played to a four-way ICM chop.
Top finishers included Christopher Bess (1st – $1,688), Kenneth Flippin (2nd – $1,198), Praveen Patolla (3rd – $1,126) and Andre Huard (4th – $895).
Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (November 29)
The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout ended in a five-way ICM chop.
The top finishers included Jo Macaluso (1st – $361), William Thomas (2nd – $355), Benjamin Riley (3rd – $342), Kamran Dargahi (4th – $261) and Maria Lutz (5th – $247).
Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (November 29)
The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll ended with Jonathan Dull taking down the outright win for $2,871).
Other top finishers included Andrew Timm (2nd – $1,771), Christopher Duff (3rd – $1,173), and Cameron Daniel (4th – $836).
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (November 30)
The Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll played down to a five-way ICM deal.
The top five included Gary McRae (1st – $1,778), D. Cervantes (2nd – $1,481), Kevin Johnson (3rd – $1,378), Cameron Daniel (4th – $1,377), and Matthew Gallagher (5th – $1,191).
Sunday $100 Buy-In Freezeout (December 3)
The Lodge’s newest addition to the weekly tournament schedule finished in a three-way ICM chop in its first run.
The top three included Shadi Farraj (1st – $1,300), Bill Leon (2nd – $935) and Thungya Nguyen (3rd – $934).
