Thanksgiving week at the Lodge featured an abbreviated tournament schedule, but plenty of poker players came away with sizable paydays nonetheless.
Let’s look at tournament winners from Nov. 20-26 in Round Rock, TX:
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (November 21)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll saw 153 entries compete for $20,740 in prize money. The final six players agreed to an ICM deal.
The top finishers included Thien Nguyen (1st – $3,355), Jeremy Letto (2nd – $3,208), Gary McRae (3rd – $2,850) and Fady Aziz (4th – $2,245).
Rounding out the top six were Alex Damico (5th – $2,202) and Praxedes Rodriguez (6th – $2,195).
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (November 20)
The Monday Bounty event drew 43 runners, and played to an outright winner.
Andrew Harness took down the tournament and the $890 first-place prize.
Other top finishers included Steve Roeder (2nd – $523) and Matt Dang (3rd – $324).
Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (November 20)
The Monday Big-O drew 103 players and a $7,674 prize pool. The tournament played to an outright winner.
Andrew Timm topped the field, securing $2,000 for the victory.
Other top finishers included Amir Mahboubi-Tehrani (2nd – $1,429) and John Emmons (3rd – $1,244).
Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (November 22)
The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout ended in a five-way ICM chop.
Steve Hwang, Ronnie Sethman, Michael Eldridge, James Emery, and Michael Sugrue all took home $517 per the terms of the deal.
Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (November 22)
The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll ended with a five-way ICM deal.
The big winners included Amir Mahboubi-Tehrani (1st – $1,842), Stephen Sweny (2nd – $1,603), Jerret Watson (3rd – $1,581), Kathleen Sassi (4th – $1,570) and Patricio Salvidea (5th – $1,188).
