The weekly slate of guaranteed prize money tournaments at the Lodge included the special $30K Guaranteed “Big One” event. That tournament sent Lodge regular Alex Bertoncini home with a $10K-plus payday.
Every tournament on this week’s Lodge’s tournament roundup went over the guarantee. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest winners from the Lodge for the week of Nov. 7-13:
The Big One $30K Guaranteed (Nov. 12)
The aptly-named “Big One” special event turned out as the biggest tournament of the week at the Lodge in terms of prize money.
A total of 121 players generated a $36,784 prize pool, going over the $30K guarantee.
Alex Bertoncini won the tournament straight up, taking home $10,400 for the win. Other top finishers included Gordon Makely (2nd – $6,989), Aaron Anders (3rd – $4,874), Rupinder Cheema (4th – $3,403) and Chuck Clayton (5th – $2,428).
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (Nov. 8)
The $15K Tuesday Freeroll drew 136 players, and after rebuys and add-ons the event produced a $17,960 prize pool.
The final five players agreed to an ICM deal. James Fox (1st – $3,304) and Ryan Johnson (2nd – $3,284) took home the biggest shares of the tournament prize money.
Also finishing in the top five were Johnny Ormand (3rd – $2,693), Rafael Sa’adah (4th – $2,380) and Robin Langley (5th – $2,056).
Sunday $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack Freezeout (Nov. 13)
Sunday’s Deep Stack Freezeout saw 84 runners compete for a $17,472 prize pool. That number went over the $15,000 guarantee, as per usual.
Adric High topped the field for the tournament win, bagging a $5,249 payday in the process.
Other top finishers included Ryan Burr (2nd – $3,673), Rupinder Cheema (3rd – $2,377), Jeffrey Hood (4th – $1,739), and Patrick Good (5th – $1,274).
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (Nov. 7)
Monday’s $2,000 Guaranteed Bounty event paid six places, with the final five runners agreeing to an ICM deal.
That list of winners included Eric Brown (1st – $645), Michael Lehner (2nd – $477), Chester Williams (3rd – $466), Jason Aguilar (4th – $442) and Minh Che (5th – $418).
Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (Nov. 7)
Monday’s weekly Big-O event always draws big interest, and the Nov. 7 edition was no exception. A total of 102 entries created a $7,266 prize pool, more than doubling the guarantee.
Mark Collier stood atop the leaderboard at tournament’s end, and Collier took down the championship for a $2,179 payday.
Other top runners included David Solomon (2nd – $1,351), Samuel Creasy (3rd – $952), Jimmy Ho (4th – $690) and Jeffrey Hood (5th – $509).
Tuesday $1K Guaranteed “The Over Stack” (Nov. 8)
The Tuesday Over Stack ended in a six-way ICM chop. The top finishers included Joseph Friedrich (1st – $560), Edmund Heimlich (2nd – $438), Kiran Desai (3rd – $396), Jeffrey Gonzalez (4th – $361) and Michael Tito (5th – $323).
The tournament drew 40 entries, with the prize pool reaching $2,320.
Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (Nov. 9)
The Wednesday Freezeout paid out $1,692 in prize money, going over the $1K guarantee.
The event ended in a three-way ICM deal, with the winners list including Chester Williams (1st – $590), Lilian Blinn (2nd – $543) and Charles Wood (3rd – $449).
Wednesday $4K Guaranteed PLO Freeroll (Nov. 9)
Wednesday’s Pot-Limit Omaha freezeout saw 45 players register, creating a $7,000 prize pool.
The tournament saw Kathy Mersiovsky take the win for a $2,975 payday. Other top finishers included Chris Chamberlain (2nd – $1,750) and Jason Liu (3rd – $1,085)
Thursday $1K Guaranteed “The Over Stack” (November 10)
The Thursday Over Stack ended in a three-way ICM chop. That trio of winners included Victoria Luna (1st – $878), Juan Vela ($745), and Jason Aguilar (3rd – $608).
The tournament drew 48 players, with the prize pool finishing at $2,784.
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty” Freeroll (November 10)
The Thursday Dirty Thirty Freeroll saw 98 players register, creating a prize pool of $11,010.
The final seven players agreed to an even chop, with each taking home $1,382. That list of champions included Vikas Punna, Sudhakar Kalakota, Zachary Davila, William Thomas, Thien Nguyen, Tung Tran, and Chris Zollo.
Friday $2K Guaranteed Freezeout (Nov. 11)
The Friday afternoon Freezeout ended in a five-way ICM deal. That list of winners included Marcus Sterner (1st – $767), Paul Lewis (2nd – $736), Arasb Rahmani (3rd – $715), Bill Leon (4th – $687) and Keith Napoleon (5th – $626).
Tournament prize money nearly doubled the guarantee, with 52 entries producing a $3,952 pool.
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (Nov. 11)
Friday’s $4K Freezeout ended in a three-way ICM deal. Topping the field were Jason Aguilar (1st $1,707), Arturo Lopez (2nd – $1,334) and Alex Bertoncini (3rd – $1,169).
A total of 59 players came out for the event, with the prize pool reaching $5,546.
Saturday $4K Guaranteed Bounty (Nov. 12)
Saturday’s $4,000 guaranteed bounty event drew 58 runners, with the prize pool finishing at $5,510.
The tournament ended with an eight-way ICM chop. Topping the winners list were Dustin Dowell (1st – $1,092), Heath Norris (2nd – $921), Joshua Hogan (3rd – $905), and Brotherlove Flores (4th – $722).
Rounding out the top eight were Russell Garcia (5th – $600), Jimmy Ho (6th – $532), Sherri Frosy (7th – $511) and Juan Torres (8th – $227).
Sunday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (Nov. 13)
The week’s tournament action concluded with Brandon Williams taking down the $1K Guaranteed Freezeout. Williams took home $748 for the win.
Other money finishers included Maurice Proctor (2nd – $429), Kristina Brotherton (3rd – $319), and Blake Kessler (4th – $100).
