Who Won At The Lodge from May 29-June 4?

The first week of June brought a record-setting turnout for the weekly Friday Freezeout, as the $4,000 guaranteed event awarded nearly $12K in prize money.

The Quarterly PLO event also arrived on the Lodge schedule this week, along with the usual lineup of weekly events.

Here’s a look at the week that was in Lodge tournament action from May 29-June 4:

Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (June 4)

The first Sunday $15K Deep Stack of the month ended in a six-way ICM deal.

The top six included Adrian Attenborough (1st – $5,249), William Cox (2nd – $5,149), Xasey Walgren (3rd – $2,900), Charles Hornbostel (4th – $2,794), Phillip Sidari (5th – $2,748) and Walter Allan (6th – $2,268).

Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (June 4)

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 29)

The Memorial Day edition of the Monday $2K Bounty drew 102 players, and ended in a heads-up chop.

Thomas Romero and Scott Miller each took home $1,270 per the terms of the deal.

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 29)

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (May 29)

The final six players in the Monday Big-O agreed to an even six-way chop to end the tournament.

The winner’s list included Kenneth Flippin, Jason Liu, John Emmons, Joseph Wahlen, Mahesh Rathi, and Neal Pollack. All six players went home with an $1,107 payday.

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (May 29)

Wednesday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 31)

Wednesday’s $2,000 Guaranteed Bounty event drew 40 runners, and ended in a three-way chop.

Steven Peek, Bryan Menendez, and Ronald Farr all took home $582 per the terms of the deal.

Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (June 1)

Thursday’s edition of the $1K No-Limit Hold’em event generated a $2,900 prize pool, and the tournament ended in a four-way chop.

The final four included Howard Magid (1st – $860), Cookie Bamuel (2nd – $734), Tony Elwood (3rd – $640) and Bob Carl (4th – $370).

Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (June 2)

The biggest Friday Freezeout in the history of the Lodge unfolded on June 2. A field of 122 players created an $11,468 prize pool, nearly tripling the guarantee,

The final eight players agreed to an ICM deal. That list included Cameron Mason (1st – $1,650), James Eargle (2nd – $1,515), Michael Owens (3rd – $1,419) and Aimal Noman (4th – $1,351).

Rounding out the top eight were Michael Choyke (5th – $1,208), R. Montesdeoca (6th – $1,099), Timothy Simmons (7th – $978), and Daniel Saczyk (8th – $789).

Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (June 2)

$10K Quarterly Pot-Limit Omaha (June 3)

June 3 brought the Quarterly PLO event to the Lodge for the second time so far in 2023. A total of 48 players entered, with five payout spots.

Allen Meckel took home the tournament trophy, as well as the first-place payday of $4,250. Evangeline Seet finished second for $2,500.

Sunday Big Bet Bounty NLH/PLO (June 4)

The Sunday NLH/PLO Big Bet Bounty finished in a five-way ICM deal.

The list of winners included Amanda Alvarez (1st – $914), Eric Chavez (2nd – $830), Julia Borrego (3rd – $690), Brandon Jordan (4th – $563) and Samuel Creasy (5th – $503).
