Who Won At The Lodge from May 22-28?

The final full week of May tournament action at the Lodge saw a trio of tournaments with $10,000+ guaranteed.

The Tuesday $15K Freeroll ended in a seven-way ICM deal, while the $10K Black Chip Bounty finished with an even chop. All parties involved came away with sizeable paydays.

Here’s a look at the week that was at the Lodge from May 22-28:

Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (May 23)

The Tuesday $15K Freeroll ended in a seven-way ICM deal.

The top finishers included Jason Farrell (1st – $4,102), Bradford Gibson (2nd – $3,463), Michael Bowersock (3rd – $3,054), and Jacob Steines (4th – $2,281).

Rounding out the top seven were Larry Bennett (5th – $1,928), Paul Best (6th – $1,853), and Tung Tran (7th –  $1,679).

Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (May 23)

$10K Guaranteed Black Chip Bounty (May 27)

The special $10,000 Guaranteed Black Chip Bounty event drew 107 runners, and the final two players agreed to an even chop.

Joel Schmitt and Larry Bennett each took home $3,952 per the terms of the deal. The two player battled it out for the tournament trophy, which Schmitt won.

Other top finishers included Bryson Byrd (3rd – $2,131), Neil Cavendish (4th – $1,545), and Casey Walgren (5th – $1,138).

$10K Guaranteed Black Chip Bounty (May 27)

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 22)

The Monday Bounty drew 64 entries, and the final seven players agreed to an ICM chop. 

Leading that list were Chester Williams (1st – $587), Lesley Berger (2nd – $491), Trung Le (3rd – $475), Walter Allan (4th – $435), Joshua Lowy (5th – $418), Cookie Bamuel (6th – $332), Zachary Santiago (7th – $326).

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 22)

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (May 22)

Monday’s weekly Big-O event saw 95 players enter, and one player take the outright win.

Mark Bernstein topped the field, taking home a first-place payday of $2,051. Danny Min Fan Chang (2nd – $1,500) and Daniel Nold (3rd – $958) also finished in the top three.

The Big-O drew 95 runners, with the prize pool reaching $7,310.

Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH (May 23)

The Tuesday $1K No-Limit Hold’em event saw 43 players enter, and the final two agreed to a heads-up ICM chop.

Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Freeroll (May 24)

A total of 51 runners came out for the Wednesday PLO, and the final five agreed to an ICM deal.

That list included Tung Tran (1st – $1,589), Nick Sheldon (2nd – $1,428), Christopher Bess (3rd – $1,224), Monica Grace (4th – $1,208) and William Thomas (5th – $875).

Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Freeroll (May 24)

Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (May 25)

Michael Hofffan topped the field in the Thursday $1K NLH event, taking home a $1,018 payday.

Other top finishers included Howard Magid (2nd – $598) and Jefferson Carpenter (3rd – $371). The tournament drew 43 players for a $2,494 prize pool.

Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (May 25)

Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 26)

John Peterson took first place among a field of 59 players in the Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty. Peterson earned an $1,137 payday for the win.

Other top finishers included Anthony Calzada (2nd – $704) and Scott Rowe (3rd – $461).

Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (May 26)

The Friday $4,000 Guaranteed Freezeout drew 95 entries, and the final seven players agreed to an ICM deal.

Justin Davis (1st – $1,514), Jason Primosch (2nd – $1,306), Bradford Gibson (3rd – $1,188), and Caleb Barber (4th – $1,110) took the top four spots on the payout ladder.

Rounding out the top seven were Joseph Williams (5th – $1,073), James Fox (6th – $1,037) and Steven Ward (7th – $611).

Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (May 26)

Saturday $4K Guaranteed Bounty (May 27)

A total of 83 players came out for the Saturday $4K Bounty, and the tournament ended in an eight-way ICM deal.

The top finishers included Christopher Bess (1st – $1,320), Cookie Bamuel (2nd – $1,085), Juan Vela (3rd – $1,046), and William Cox (4th – $952).
