With the 2024 Lodge Championship Series in the rearview mirror, the Lodge’s regular schedule of weekly tournaments is back. 

Let’s take a look at some of the big winners from the non-LCS tournament category at the best card club in Texas from May 13-19:

$40K Guaranteed “The Art of Poker” (May 18)

The $40K Guaranteed “Art of Poker” event awarded the biggest first-place prize of the week at the Lodge. 

Ryan Gerstenberg took home $10,000 for the win, per the terms of an ICM deal.

Other top finishers included Caleb Barber (2nd – $8,111), J. Cabrera (3rd – $6,397), and Mark Larson (4th – $8,336).

$40K Guaranteed “The Art of Poker” (May 18)

Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (May 14)

The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll drew 173 entries, and played down to a five-way ICM chop.

Henry Hanson (1st – $7,000) took down the lion’s share of the prize money per the terms of the deal.

Other top finishers included Richard Lin, Tung Tran, and Andrew Timm, all of whom took home $3,063.

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (May 13)

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 13)

The Monday Bounty event drew 43 players, and played to an outright winner.

David Steinke finished atop the payout ladder, winning $932 for first place. Adam Hamlin (2nd – $548) finished runner-up.

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (May 13)

The Monday Big-O drew 105 runners, and ended with a four-way even chop.

Miller, Darryl Mann, Robert Landers, and Eric Chavez each took home $1,422 per the terms of the deal.

Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH (May 14)

The Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH event played to a heads-up ICM deal.

Dustin Doege (1st – $950) and Roger Pettit (2nd – $813) took the top two payout spots.

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (May 13)

Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (May 15)

The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout played to a heads-up ICM deal.

Charles Wood (1st – $964) and Amy Kelly (2nd – $738) finished first and second, respectively.

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (May 13)

Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (May 15)

The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll played to an outright winner, with Todd Bourgeois (1st – $2,835) taking down the first-place spot.

Other top finishers included Joel Brandenburg (2nd – $1,750), and Kyle Stein (3rd – $1,158).

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (May 13)

Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (May 16)

The Thursday Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll drew 117 players, and played to a three-way ICM chop.

Kamran Dargahi (1st – $3,470), Ruth Rivera (2nd – $2,965), and Terry Morales (3rd – $2,864) took the top three payout spots.

Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (May 16)

Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (May 17)

Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 86 players, and ended in a six-way even chop. All six players took home $1,152.

That list of winners included Charles Love, Prax Rodriguez, Yao Clinton, Alisa Stansbury, Paul Hernandez, and Elizabeth Molina.

Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (May 16)

Saturday $3K Guaranteed1x1 (May 18)

The weekly Saturday 1×1 event ended with a heads-up chop.

David Dalke and Christopher Bess each took home $1,146 per the terms of the deal.

Sunday $100 Buy-In Freezeout (May 19)

The Sunday Freezeout ended with a four-way ICM chop.

Kevin Perrydore (1st – $1,303), RoyZingelmann (2nd – $977), Timothy Heher (3rd – $809) and Brenda Hamill (4th – $774) took the top four payout spots.
