The second week of March brought another week of big tournament action to the best poker club in Texas.
The seasonal Art of Poker tournament made its return to the Lodge, with first-place finisher Jason Burrus bagging $18K+ for the win.
Jason wasn’t the only big winner to come away from Round Rock, Texas this week:
$40K Guaranteed “The Art of Poker” (March 9)
The $40K Guaranteed “Art of Poker” event awarded the biggest prize pool of the week at the Lodge. A total of 409 players competed for $83,436 in prize money.
Jason Burrus topped the field, taking home $18,366 for the win.
Other top finishers included Thomas Brabham (2nd – $11,764), Andrew Tran (3rd – $8,260), Eduardo Salinas (4th – $6,049) and Nicholas Tucker (5th – $4,547).
Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (March 10)
Sunday’s weekly $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack saw 106 players compete for a $21,624 prize pool.
The tournament ended in a three-way even chop, as Joshua Pope, Donovan Bragg, and Brandon Williams each took home $4,168 per the terms of the deal.
Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (March 4)
The Monday Big-O saw a $5,634 prize pool distributed in a 12-way even chop! All players involved took home $470.
That list included Timothy Lownsdale, John Emmons, M. Muntingh, Stephen Kennell, Bradford Gibson, and Andrew Thomas.
Rounding out the 12-way deal were J. Youngblood, Alan Tran, Douglas Borgman, Dustin Clay, A. Robinson, and Amir Mahboubi-Tehrani.
Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (March 6)
The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll played to a seven-way ICM deal.
Kevin Podszebka (1st – $1,727), Todd Bourgeois (2nd – $1,673), and Christopher Bess (3rd – $1,167) finished in the top three.
Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (March 7)
The Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH played to a five-way even chop.
Richard Walker, Nick Netti, Kyle Thompson, Derwin Gavin, and Kevin Sanders all took home $479 per the terms of the deal..
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (March 7)
The Thursday Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll played to a ten-way even chop. All players involved went home with a $1,082 payday.
That list included Justin Hill, Ted Gomez, P. Rodriguez, Dennis Cardona, and Timothy Roberts.
Rounding out the top ten were Daniel Malone, Jordan Mandel, A. Tallam, Lisa Graviel, and Thien Nguyen.
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (March 8)
Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 110 players, and ended in a six-way ICM chop.
The top finishers included Joshua Bonavita (1st – $1,566), Derwin Gavin (2nd – $1,537), Q. Slattman (3rd – $1,444) and H. Hardeep (4th – $1,387).
Rounding out the top six were Kirk Middleton (5th – $1,366) and P. Rodriguez (6th – $1,159).
Sunday $100 Buy-In Freezeout (March 10)
The Sunday Freezeout drew 61 players for a $4,636 prize pool.
Hobbs Hunter (1st – $899) and Tony Kian (2nd – $870) took the top two payout spots.
