The final week of March was highlighted by the special $100k Guaranteed Spring Madness event. The three-day tournament saw the prize pool go north of $200K, and the top five players all went home with at least $18,000 each.

 

Let’s take a look at the biggest winners at the Lodge from March 27 through April 2:

 

$100K Guaranteed Spring Madness (March 31-April 2)

A couple of ICM went down among the final players in the $100K Guaranteed Spring Madness. In the end, five players went home with five-figure paydays.

 

That list included tournament champion James Galloway, who went home with $25,581.

 

Other top finishers included Thien Nguyen (2nd – $27,135), Randall Bott (3rd – $18,466), Donald Cowie (4th – $19,140), and James Thomson (5th – $20,617).

 

Spring Madness more than doubled the guarantee, with the prize pool reaching $206,896 thanks to 823 players registering.

$100K Guaranteed Spring Madness (March 31-April 2)

Sunday $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack Freezeout (April 2)

Sunday’s weekly $15K Freezeout drew 94 players, creating a $19,552 prize pool. The final four players agreed to an ICM chop.

 

That list included Hao Wei Chang (1st – $3,803), Kirk Middleton (2nd – $3,522), Mrinal Rajkhowa (3rd – $3,316) and Michael Holst (4th – $3,279).

Sunday $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack Freezeout (April 2)

Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (March 28)

The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll ended in a four-way even chop.

 

Those four players all took home $4,146, and that list included Pedro Reyna, Raymond Barlowe, Cameron Mixson, and Sandeep Vasudevan.

 

The tournament drew 167 entries this week.

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (March 27)

A total of 50 entires came out for the Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty, and played down to an outright winner.

Christopher Brady topped the field, taking home a $1,094 payday. Derrick Diaz (2nd – $644) finished as the runner-up.

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (March 27)

The Monday Big-O finished in a seven-way ICM deal. Sarah Cattan took the first-place share of the prize money, winning $919.

 

Other top finishers included Mahesh Rathi (2nd – $784), Bradley Gordon (3rd – $780), Cameron Daniel (4th – $746) and Andrew Thomas (5th – $716).

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (March 27)

Wednesday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (March 29)

The Wednesday bounty drew 53 entries, and ended with the final two players agreeing to a chop.

 

John Skrovan (1st – $840) and Patricia Arends (2nd – $756) were the two big winners in the heads-up deal.

Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Freeroll (March 29)

A total of 63 runners came out for Wednesday’s $5K Guaranteed PLO event, creating a prize pool of $8,780.

 

Mark Nirenshtein (1st – $2,700) took the win, followed by Daniel Ruz (2nd – $2,100), David Miller (3rd – $1,213) and Mao Chi Sun (4th – $865).

Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Freeroll (March 29)

Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (March 30)

The Thursday Dirty Thirty saw the prize pool reach $12,450, with 98 players registering.

 

The event ended in a six-way ICM deal, with the winners list including John Perez (1st – $2,403), Joshua Hogan (2nd – $2,172), Clifton Ulen (3rd – $1,684), Brenda Young (4th – $1,606), William Ferguson (5th – $1,363) and William Cox (6th – $1,015).

Sunday Big Bet Bounty NLH/PLO (April 2)

Sunday’s No-Limit Hold’em/PLO mixed bounty event drew 63 runners, and ended in a three-way chop.

 

Steven Young, (1st – $1,130), Naveen Basavarajappa (2nd – $1,072) and Jeffrey Hood (3rd – $783) took the top three spots.
