After a special Wacky Weekend of Poker to begin February, the tournament schedule at the Lodge returned to business as usual.
The week of February 5-11 yielded plenty of big winners from the club’s normal tournament slate.
Here’s the rundown:
$30K Guaranteed “Big One” Re-Entry (February 10)
The seasonal “Big One” re-entry tournament returned to the Lodge on Feb. 10, with two five-figure winners at the top of the payout ladder.
Thien Nguyen topped the field, earning the first-place prize of $12,969. William Brown (2nd – $11,969) also cleared the $10K mark for his second-place finish per the terms of a heads-up deal.
Other top finishers included Geoffrey Feinberg (3rd – $6,408), Kevin Yu (4th – $4,539) and Bradley Ritschel (5th – $3,204).
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (February 6)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll saw 155 players compete. The final five players agreed to an ICM deal.
The top finishers included William Cox (1st – $3,800), Marc Lebowitz (2nd – $3,257), Ryan Huling (3rd – $3,176), Eli Geffen (4th – $2,899) and Daniel Malone (5th – $2,760).
Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (February 11)
Sunday’s weekly $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack drew 77 players and a $15,708 prize pool.
Terry Morales took down the tournament and the first-place prize of $5,090.
Other top finishers included Luke Parker (2nd – $3,314), Clifton Ulen (3rd – $2,168) and Daniel Marin (4th – $1,524).
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (February 5)
The Monday Bounty event drew 66 players, and ended with a three-way ICM chop.
The top three included Derrick Diaz (1st – $897), Kamran Dargahi (2nd – $790) and Sherri Frost (3rd – $629).
Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH (February 6)
The Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH event played to a heads-up chop.
Steven Ward (1st – $865) and Jesse Scanlan (2nd – $700) took the top two payout spots.
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (February 8)
The Thursday Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll played to a five-way ICM chop.
The top five included William Cox (1st – $2,341), Hao Wei Chang (2nd – $2,017), Jerret Watson (3rd – $1,871), Clifton Ulen (4th – $1,850) and Tung Tran (5th – $1,444).
Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (February 9)
Friday’s weekly $2K Guaranteed Bounty event played to a heads-up ICM deal.
The top finishers included Eric Brown (1st – $953), and Hana Huber (2nd – $750).
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (February 9)
Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 95 players, and ended in a heads-up even chop.
The top two finishers included Joshua Bozarth and Bill Leon, with each player taking home $2,124).
Other top finishers included Todd Bourgeois (3rd – $1,145) and M. Proctor (4th – $830).
$3K Guaranteed Saturday 1×1 (February 10)
The weekly Saturday 1×1 event drew 80 players, and ended with a three-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Anthony Laughlin (1st – $1,500), James Harvey (2nd – $1,277), and J. Middleton (3rd – $1,276).
