As August rolls into September, player turnout and prize pools for the Lodge Round Rock’s weekly tournament schedule show no signs of slowing down.
Let’s take a look at some of the big winners from August 26-September 1:
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (August 27)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll played to a heads-up even chop.
Jack Meymandi and Joe Bowser topped the payout ladder and each took home $5,927.
Other top finishers included Patrick Tobar (3rd – $3,046) and Tyrone White (4th – $2,157).
Tuesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (August 27)
The Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH played to a four-way even chop.
Stephen Michlik, Michael Lehner, Scott Rowe, and Lucas Flores each took home $621 per the terms of the deal.
Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Texas Freeroll (August 28)
The Wednesday Texas PLO Freeroll awarded $8,440 in prize money. The tournament played to a three-way ICM deal.
The final three included Phillip Carter (1st – $2,954), Stephen Kennell (2nd – $1,515), and Theophilus Scales (3rd – $1,515).
Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (August 29)
The Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH finished with a three-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Steven Ward (1st – $1,014), Corentin Yvinec (2nd – $875), Paul Lewis (3rd – $696).
Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (August 30)
Friday’s weekly $2K Guaranteed Bounty ended in a four-way ICM deal.
Robert Murphy (1st – $661), Raymond Barlowe (2nd – $516), Elizabeth McDaniel (3rd – $494) and Riki Young (4th – $489) took the top four payout spots.
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (August 30)
Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 85 players, and played to an outright winner.
The top finishers included Ruth Rivera (1st – $2,503), Shawn Jones (2nd – $1,548), Adam Gabbert (3rd – $1,079), and Raymond Lee (4th – $790).
Saturday $3K Guaranteed 1×1 (August 31)
The weekly Saturday 1×1 event ended with a five-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Jonathon Good (1st – $938), Kyle King (2nd – $747), D. Martindale (3rd – $646), Joe Bowser (4th – $504), and Joseph Wahlen (5th – $409).
Sunday $100 Buy-In Freezeout (August 31)
The Sunday Freezeout ended in a four-way ICM deal.
The top four included Daniel Pineda (1st – $1,200), David Bowness (2nd – $975), E. Ronchetti (3rd – $855) and R. Zingelmann (4th – $792).
