The $1 Million Guaranteed Mega Monster wrapped up at the Lodge Round Rock on August 13. The event was a massive success, with more than $1.8 million in the prize pool and more than $300K going to tournament champion Joel Doney.

$1 Million Guaranteed Mega Monster (August 1 -13)
The $1 Million Guaranteed Mega Monster featured 25 Day 1 flights, 5,462 entries, and a $1,824,308 prize pool.
Joel Doney topped the field for the win, securing $302,237 for the first-place prize.
Other top finishers included Joseph Walsh (2nd – $165,895), Eric Tang (3rd – $118,269), Peter Green (4th – $79,375) and the Lodge’s own Skull Mike (5th – $60,325).
$40K Guaranteed “The Art of Poker” (August 17)
The $40K Guaranteed “Art of Poker” event drew 360 entries, and played to a heads-up chop.
Nischal Colluru and Daniel Saczyk each took home $13,955 per the terms of the deal. Colluru won the heads-up match for the tournament trophy.
Other top finishers included Jonathan Dull (3rd – $7,564), James Cazin (4th – $5,508) and Thuy Nguyen (5th – $4,039).
Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (August 18)
The Sunday $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack saw 131 players compete for $26,724 in prize money. The tournament played to an six-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Joseph Walsh (1st – $4,771), Richard Hirsch (2nd – $4,631), Willis Prieto (3rd – $3,914), and D. Waggoner (4th – $3,130).
Rounding out the top six were Julius Cantu (5th – $2,685), and John Trumbul (6th – $2,564).
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (August 12)
The Monday $2K Bounty event drew 79 players, and played to an outright winner.
Howard Hammerbeck (1st – $1,336) topped the field for the win, followed by Ronald Sax (2nd – $829), and Robert Murphy (3rd – $542).
Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH (August 13)
The Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH event played to a heads-up ICM chop.
Paula Zingelmann (1st – $1000) and Nathan Corbin (2nd – $732) finished first and second per the terms of the deal.
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (August 13)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll drew 146 entries, and played to a five-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included N. Amicucci (1st – $3,859), Zeeshan Alam (2nd – $3,624), David Solomon (3rd – $3,592), Tyler Bautista (4th – $2,794), and Tyler Filz (5th – $2,737).
Rounding out the top eight were Matthew Buchanan (5th – $2,300), Aaron Clepper (6th – $1,800), R. Ramachandran (7th – $1,597) and Jeffrey Ray (8th – $1,303).
Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (August 14)
The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout played to a four-way even chop.
Joe Bowser, Archie Gregory, Steven Ward, and Roy Loverde each took home $749 per the terms of the deal.
Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (August 15)
The Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH finished with a five-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Michael Lehner (1st – $710), Robert Kyle (2nd – $596), Steven Ward (3rd – $537), Steve Roeder (4th – $523), and G. Scaramuzza (5th – $498).
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (August 15)
The Thursday Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll drew 102 entries and played to a three-way ICM deal.
The top finishers included Daniel Zalesin (1st – $2,881), D. Donaghe (2nd – $2,174), and Joseph Sibley (3rd – $2,004).
Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (August 16)
Friday’s weekly $2K Guaranteed Bounty drew 53 entries, and ended in a heads-up ICM chop.
D. Donaghe (1st – $842) and Jo Macaluso (2nd – $738) took the top two payout spots.
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (August 16)
Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 103 players, and played to a heads-up ICM deal.
The top finishers included Alex Damico (1st – $2,497), Gregory Sariti (2nd – $2,109), Sean Murphy (3rd – $1,241), and Se Pak (4th – $900).
Rounding out the final seven were Jacob Stein (5th – $1,307), Chad Spencer (6th – $1,124), and Sean Murphy (7th – $1,071).
Austin Ladies Event (August 17)
The multi-week Austin Ladies Poker Series debuted at the Lodge on August 17.
Salima Dhanani (1st – $1,420) topped the field for the win.
The next event in the series is a $100 buy-in tournament, beginning at 12pm on September 7.
Saturday $3K Guaranteed 1×1 (August 17)
The weekly Saturday 1×1 event ended with a heads-up even chop.
Joseph Wahlen and Ernest Jose each took home $1,112 per the terms of the deal.
Sunday $100 Buy-In Freezeout (August 18)
The Sunday Freezeout ended in a seven-way ICM deal.
The final seven included Riki Young (1st – $645), Eric Becker (2nd – $606), Jose Luna (3rd – $602), Evangeline Seet (4th – $586), Daniel Allen (5th – $529), Daniel Allen (6th – $529) and Karlo Kalifa (7th – $518).
