Who Won At The Lodge from April 24-May 7?

The Lodge Championship Series took center stage at the Lodge in late April and early May, resulting in an abbreviated schedule for the club’s regular weekly tournaments over that time span.

While the biggest payouts over the course of April 24 through May 7 came from LCS winners, plenty of other players came away with big prizes in non-LCS events.

Let’s take a look at the big winners from the Lodge’s weekly events from the past two weeks:

Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (April 30)

The Sunday weekly Deep Stack saw 184 come out, with the prize pool reaching $38,272.

Damion Richardson topped all competitors, finishing with an outright win and an $8,983 first-place prize.

Other top finishers included Christopher Bess (2nd – $7,644), Nico Sauerland (3rd – $4,964), Eric Brown (4th – $2,947) and Mark Paccone (5th – $2,124).

Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (April 25)

Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (April 25)

The April 25 edition of the $15K Tuesday Freeroll drew 176 runners, and ended with an outright winner.

David Solomon topped the sizeable field, taking home $6,765 in the win.

Other top finishers included Mao Chi Sun (2nd – $4,732), A. Rahmani (3rd – $2,924), and D. Singletary (4th – $2,093).

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (April 24)

Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (April 24)

The April 24 edition of the Monday Big-O saw 92 runners compete for a $7,036 prize pool.

The event ended with the final two players agreeing to a heads-up deal, including Rebekah Emmons (1st – $1,884) and Kevin Johnson (2nd – $1,485).

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (April 24)

The Monday $2K Bounty drew 48 entries, who played for $3,648 in prize pool money plus bounties.

The tournament finished with a five-way ICM chop. Those top five finishers included Michael Robinson (1st – $578), John Peterson (2nd – $547), Eric Brown (3rd – $505), Paul Batson (4th – $379) and Robert Farabee (5th, $339).

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (April 24)

Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH (April 25)

The Tuesday $1K No-Limit Hold’em event drew 39 players on April 25, and ended in a three-way ICM deal.

Jeffrey Ray (1st – $736), Edward Buchanan (2nd – $620) and Sherri Frost (3rd – $620) topped the field, taking the top three spots on the payout ladder.

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 1)

The Monday $2K Bounty (May 1 edition) drew 40 entries, who played for $3,040 in prize pool money plus bounties.

The five in-the-money finishers agreed to an ICM deal. That list included Kiran Desai (1st – $556), Ronald Kim (2nd – $502), John Peterson (3rd – $467), Brian McConnell (4th – $308) and Derwin Gavin (5th – $207).

Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 1)

Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (May 4)

The Thursday $1K NLH (May 4 edition) finished in a five-way chop.

Steve Roeder topped the payout ladder, taking home the first-place prize of $819.

Other top finishers included Raymond Barlowe (2nd – $499), Ajejandro Buenrostro (3rd – $497), Derwin Gavin (4th – $493) and Richard Walker (5th – $400).

Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (May 4)

Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (May 4)

The May 4 running of the Thursday Dirty Thirty Freeroll drew 93 entires, with the prize pool reaching $10,800.

Steve Hwang topped the field, taking home the winner’s prize of $2,059. Alejandro Arellano (pictured below) finished runner-up for $2,059.

Other top finishers included Daniel Allen (3rd – $1,415), Kyle Sagert (4th – $1,026) and Clifton Ulen (5th – $756).

Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (May 4)

Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (May 5)

The May 5 edition of the Friday Bounty ended in a heads-up chop.

Benjamin Riley (1st – $780) and Rafael Sa’adah (2nd – $565) finished in the top two spots. The tournament drew 42 players for a $4,200 prize pool.

Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (May 4)

The May 4 Friday $4K Freezeout saw 88 players compete for an $8,272 prize pool. The event ended with an outright winner.

 

Jordan Hendrix outlasted the field, taking home a first-place prize of $2,608. Other top finishers included Ryan Black (2nd – $1,614), Peter Lametta (3rd – $1,125) and Greg Leroy (4th – $823).
