The first week of April brought yet another week of big tournament action to the Lodge Card Club.
The Lodge’s pair of weekly $15K Guaranteed tournaments (running Tuesday and Sunday) produced the biggest prize pools of the week, as per usual.
Here’s the rundown for the week of April 1-7:
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (April 2)
The Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll saw 161 players compete for $25,220 in prize money. The final four players agreed to an ICM deal.
The top finishers included James Crist (1st – $5,029), Jordan Mandel (2nd – $4,701), Bradford Gibson (3rd – $4,217), and Willis Prieto (4th – $3,000).
Sunday $15K Single Re-Entry Deep Stack (April 7)
Sunday’s weekly $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack saw 143 players compete for a $35,750 prize pool.
The tournament ended in a four-way ICM chop. The biggest of those winners was Alex Damico (1st – $6,329).
Paul Song (3rd – $4,524) and Brent Becker (4th – $4,430) also finished among the top four.
Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH (April 2)
The Tuesday $1K Guaranteed NLH event drew 40 players, and played to a heads-up chop.
Jean Marsh and Corey Dennen each took home $1,088 per the terms of the deal.
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (April 2)
The Monday Bounty event drew 72 players, and ended with a five-way even chop.
Don Nguyen, Luis Alfaro, Brendan Huse, James Greco, and Matthew Norkiewicz each took home $613 per the terms of the deal.
Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (April 3)
The Wednesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout drew 40 players, and played to a heads-up chop.
Ann Glaze and Derrick Clinton each earned $1,088 per the terms of the deal.
Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH (April 4)
The Thursday $1K Guaranteed NLH saw 50 players compete. The tournament played to a heads-up ICM chop.
Benjamin Riley (1st – $1,497) and Kyle Kepner (2nd – $1,000) took the top two payout spots.
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (April 4)
The Thursday Dirty Thirty Texas Freeroll drew 119 entries, and played to a four-way ICM chop.
David Steinke (1st – $3,801), Joshua Lowy (2nd – $2,158), Ryan Shaw (3rd – $2,158), and Brian Obeso (4th – $2,158) took the top four spots.
Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (April 5)
Friday’s weekly $2K Guaranteed Bounty event saw 59 players compete. The tournament played to a heads-up ICM chop.
Fabian Bump (1st – $975) and Jason Johnson (2nd – $791) took down the top two payout spots.
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (April 5)
Friday’s $4K Guaranteed Freezeout ended in a four-way even chop. All four players involved in the deal took home $1,916.
That list of winners included Derrick Clinton, Paul Radford, Bradford Gibson, and Grant Oen.
Austin Ladies Event (April 6)
The monthly Austin Ladies Event returned to the Lodge on April 6.
Christina Eckert took down the tournament for a $987 payday. Clarisse Haack (2nd – $567) finished second.
Sunday $100 Buy-In Freezeout (April 7)
The Sunday Freezeout drew 59 players, and ended with a three-way ICM deal.
Michael Connolly (1st – $1,258), Blake Kessler (2nd – $1,068), and Jack Meymandi (3rd – $1,001), took the top three payout spots.
