The first major tournament series at the Lodge for 2023 saw its centerpiece event reach more than $1.5 million in prize money.
Main Event winner Josh Mountain took home more than a quarter-million dollars in the win, while the second and third-place finishers each collected six-figure payouts as well.
The Mayhem Series awarded well over $2 million in prize money over 16 events. Here’s a look at the big winners from Spring Mayhem 2023:
Spring Mayhem $1 Million Guaranteed Main Event (March 1-6)
Josh Mountain took down the Spring Mayhem Main Event, earning $256,357 for the outright win.
Patricia Arends (2nd – $164,705) and David Leatherman (3rd – $120,756) also took home six-figure paydays for their final table runs in the $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament.
The tournament drew 778 total entries, with the final prize pool reaching $1,548,160.
$10K Guaranteed Seniors (Feb. 21)
The $10K Seniors tournament drew 153 players, for a total of $25,092 in the prize pool.
Adam O’Neill took down the championship, taking home $3,949 per the terms of a five-way final table deal.
Other top finishers included John Lux (2nd – $3,750), Brandon Rhodes (3rd – $3,670), Jams Bassett (4th – $3,500) and Richard Walker (5th – $3,500).
$15K Guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha (Feb. 21)
Terry Morales came away with the championship in the $15K Guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event, and won a $7,366 first-place prize.
Other top finishers in a four-way ICM chop included Roger Franco (2nd – $5,299), Steven Uman (3rd – $4,697) and Jeffrey Hood (4th – $4,619).
The PLO event drew 125 players and a $31,500 prize pool.
$50K Guaranteed 6-Max (Feb. 22)
A total of 131 runners came out for the $50K 6-Max NLH event, creating a $55,675 prize pool.
Josh Beckenstein went home with the win and a $15,000 first-place prize.
$20K Guaranteed PLO Black Chip Bounty (Feb. 22)
The $20K Pot-Limit Omaha Black Chip Bounty event saw the final three playera agree to an even chop.
Alisa Stansbury, Sami Hamid, amd Robert Palmer each won $4,447 per the terms of the deal.
$15K Guaranteed Big-O (Feb. 23)
A total of 133 entries registered for the $15K Big-O tournament, with the prize pool reaching $33,514.
Katherine Mersiovsky took home the tournament trophy and the second-biggest payout per the terms of a four-way ICM deal. Mersiovsky collected a $7,471 for the effort.
The other players finishing in the top four included Nathaniel Tucker (1st – $7,548), Sterline Allen (3rd – $4,325) and Kevin Johnson (4th – $4,043).
NLH Survivor (Feb. 23)
The No-Limit Hold’em Survivor event awarded a $23,688 prize pool, with the final 11 players collected equal shares of the money. Each player took home $2,153.
The winner’s list included Tanner Thompson, Charles Shields, David Brookshire, Alberto Loya, Myranda Williams, and Michael Steinbacher.
Rounding out the final 11 were Lance Kitrell, Victoria Luna, Daniel Marin, Russell Atkins, and Ronald Hall.
$300K Guaranteed NLH (Feb. 24-26)
The $300,000 Guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event ended with an outright winner.
Neel Mazumdar took home the tournament trophy and an $82,272 payday.
$10K Guaranteed Freezeout (Feb. 26)
The $10,000 Guaranteed Freezeout ended with a familiar name taking home the tournament trophy and the first place prize.
Daniel Marin (1st – $5,598) topped the field for the outright win. Other top finishers included Andrew Brown (2nd – $3,828), Zach Teibloom (3rd – $3,915) and Nathan Peel (4th – $3,596).
$20K Guaranteed NLH Black Chip Bounty (Feb. 26)
The $20K NLH Black Chip Bounty awarded $28,424 in total prize money.
Madhav Goyal (1st – $6,033) took down the championship, topping Alex Bertoncini ($5,000) in heads-up play.
$20K Guaranteed NLH/PLO (Feb. 27)
The No-Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha mixed event drew 110 players, with the prize pool reaching $27,720.
Arturo Lopez finished with the outright win and the $8,317 first-place prize.
Other top finishers included Kevin Garosshen (2nd – $5,156), Matthew Bray (3rd – $3,631) and Sheila Stimson (4th – $2,633).
$15K Guaranteed NLH 2x Green Chip Bounty (Feb. 27)
The NLH Green Chip Bounty event played down to an outright winner.
Raul Garza finished as the tournament champion, collecting $3,135 plus over $800 in bounties.
$15K Guaranteed Freezeout (Feb. 28)
Paul Lewis toom down the outright win in the $15K Freezeout, collecting a $5,299 payday in the process.
Other top finishers included Brandon Rhodes (2nd – $4,576), Frank Sill (3rd – $3,112), Josh Beckenstein (4th – $2,296) and Julie Marriott (5th – $1,798).
$30K Guaranteed Tuesday Freeroll Mayhem Edition (Feb. 28)
The Spring Mayhem Edition of the Tuesday Freeroll ended in a nine-way ICM deal.
The list of nine winners included Mahesh Rahti (1st – $4,710), Gregory Tausch (2nd – $3,658), Wayne Lovell (3rd – $3,644), William Ball (4th – $3,334) and Leo Xu (5th – $2,751).
Rounding out the final nine were Alberto Wu (6th – $2,694), Javier Hernandez (7th – $2,357), Kenneth Glaser (8th – $2,151) and Linoy Mathen (9th – $1,670).
$50K Guaranteed 50 For 50 (March 5)
The $50k Guaranteed 50 For 50 saw Michael B. emerge as the winner.
Michael took home $20,175 for the win.
NLH Freezeout (March 5)
The penultimate event in the Spring Mayhem series took place in the form of an NLH Freezeout tournament.
Madhu Dittakavi (1st – $5,199) came away with the outright win, topping Guillermo Nunez (2nd – $3,278) in heads-up play.
$10K Guaranteed The Closer (March 6)
Anthony Banuelos took down the championship in The Closer to wrap up the Spring Mayhem Series. Banuelos won $3,683 per the terms of a three-way deal.
Other top finishers included Cameron Mixson (2nd – $3,000) and Kamran Dargahi (3rd – $3,000).
