  7. Players start with 30,000 in chips.
  8. Each Day 1 level is 30 minutes, except for 2/21 9:15pm and 2/22 5:15pm “turbo” flights which will have 15-minute levels.
  9. Day 1 flights in San Antonio will have 30 minute levels. These flights take place on 2/21 at 3:15pm and 2/22 at 12:15pm.
  10. The Super Turbo flights on 2/22 at 9:15pm and 2/23 at 9:15am will have 10-minute levels
  11. Each Day 2 level is 40 minutes.
  12. The starting level for Day 2 will be the lowest completed level at any Round Rock location flight.
  13. $66 of the $400 buy-in will be withheld for fees. $334 of the $400 buy-in will be added to the total prize pool.
  14. In the event a Player has won a buy-in or a satellite that awarded “Tournament Entry Lammers”, players may use the lammers in increments of $100 and any odd value must be made up in cash.
  15. Late entry and Reentry will be allowed until the beginning of the ninth (9) level.
  16. Day 1 flight payouts will start when 12% of the starting field has been reached and will be the following structure
    1. 12% – 11% = $500
    2. 10%- 9% = $600
  17. Day 1 flights will conclude when 8% of the starting field is reached.
  18. All players that reach Day 2 will be in the money. Day 2 will start at 1pm.
  19. Day 2 payouts will be based on the remaining prize pool collected after Day 1 payouts and bonuses are distributed.
  20. Players may bag multiple Day 1 flights. Players will carry their highest valued bag forward to Day 2. Any additional bags will receive a bonus of $800. If a player bags two or more times, they only receive the $800 bonus per extra bag.
  21. All Day 1 and bonus payouts are a part of the overall prize pool.
  22. The tournament prize pool disbursement, as set forth herein, may be modified upon unanimous written agreement of management and all tournament players still involved in the tournament.
  23. A total prize pool of $500,000 is guaranteed by The Lodge Card Club.
  24. All pre-registered stacks will be in play at the start of the event.

  9. Management reserves the right to cancel or change the tournament.   
  10. Winners must show a valid ID to collect winnings. Residents of foreign countries without a U.S. tax treaty will be subject to withholding. Pursuant to IRS regulations, W-2G or 1042s forms will be issued for all tournament winnings of $5,000 or more (net of buy-in amount).  
  11. For the $3,000 buy-in players start with 50,000 in chips. Each level on Day 1 is 40 minutes except for the 9:15 am flights are 10-minute levels (super turbo). Each level on Day 2 is 50 minutes. Each level on Day 3 will be 60 minutes.
  12. $275 of $3,000 buy-in will be withheld for fees. $2,725 of the $3,000 buy-in will be added to the total prize pool. 
  13. Late entry and reentry will be allowed until the beginning of the tenth (10) level.
  14. In the event a player has won a buy-in or a satellite that rewarded “Tournament Entry Lammers”, players may use the lammers in increments of $100 and any odd value must be made up in cash.
  15. Players may play multiple flights. A player will carry forward their largest bag if they bag multiple Day 1 flights.
  16. The tournament prize pool disbursement, as set forth herein, may be modified upon unanimous written agreement of management and all tournament players still involved in the tournament.  
  17. A total prize pool of $1,000,000 is guaranteed by The Lodge Card Club.

If a player makes a max rebuy, they can get a 10,000 chip for a dealer appreciation bonus of $10.  
  9. At the break there is a minimum addon of 10,000 tournament chips for $20 and a maximum addon of 50,000 chips for $100. If a player does a max addon they can receive 10,000 in chips for a $10 dealer appreciation bonus.
  10. Late entry will be allowed until the beginning of the ninth (9) level.
  11. For every $3,000 collected in the prize pool, a ticket to the $3,000 buy-in LCS Main Event will be awarded as a prize. Any amount in the prize pool that does not equal $3,000 will be paid as a cash prize.
  12. In the event a player has won a buy-in or a satellite that awarded “Tournament Entry Lammers”, players may use the lammers in increments of $100 and odd value must be made up in cash.

  8. At the registration closing break players may purchase an addon of 10,000 in tournament chips for $20. There is a maximum of five (5) addons. If a player purchases a max addon, they can also purchase 10,000 in tournament chips for a $10 dealer appreciation bonus.  
  9. Late entry will be allowed until the beginning of the thirteenth (13) level.  
  10. In the event a player has won a buy-in or a satellite that rewarded “Tournament Entry Lammers”, players may use the lammers in increments of $100 and any odd value must be made up in cash.

No electronics are permitted in the studio without explicit permission from the tournament director or the producer. This includes but is not limited to: cellular phones, headphones, earbuds, and smart watches.

Personal effects for the players on the livestream should be stored in the personal lockers available.

What is the Lodge Championship Series?

The Lodge Championship Series (LCS) is a yearly tournament series at The Lodge Card Club. The 2025 LCS starts in mid-February and runs into early March. 

The series includes a variety of poker tournaments with buy-ins as low as $300. There are also three major, multi-day tournaments with big guarantees.

It all leads up to the LCS Main Event, which will feature a $1 million guarantee for a $3,000 buy-in.

Michael Liang took down the 2024 LCS Main Event for around $428,000.

Preston Duron was the victor in the 2023 edition of the LCS Main Event, taking home $426,801.

TOURNAMENT RULES
  • A PLAYER MUST BE AT HIS OR HER SEAT BY THE TIME ALL PLAYERS HAVE BEEN DEALT COMPLETE INITIAL HANDS TO HAVE A LIVE HAND. PLAYERS MUST BE AT THEIR SEATS TO CALL TIME. “AT YOUR SEAT” IS DEFINED AS BEING WITHIN REACH OR TOUCH OF YOUR CHAIR.
  • HIGHER-DENOMINATION CHIPS MUST BE PLACED WHERE THEY ARE EASILY VISIBLE TO ALL OTHER PLAYERS AT THE TABLE. ‘HIDDEN’ CHIPS MAY RESULT IN THE OFFENDER BEING RESTRICTED IN THE PLAYER’S FURTHER ACTION OR ANOTHER PLAYER BEING ALLOWED TO RECONSIDER THEIR ACTION.
  • TOURNAMENT CHIPS MUST BE VISIBLE ON THE TABLE THROUGHOUT THE EVENT. CHIPS TAKEN OFF THE TABLE WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE EVENT, AND A PLAYER DOING THIS MAY BE DISQUALIFIED.
  • ALL CARDS WILL BE TURNED FACE UP ONCE A PLAYER IS ALL IN AND ALL ACTION IS COMPLETE.
  • A PLAYER MUST SHOW CARDS WHEN PLAYING THE BOARD TO GET PART OF THE POT.
  • ALL CELL PHONES AND OTHER VOICE-ENABLED AND “RINGING” ELECTRONIC DEVICES MUST BE SILENCED DURING TOURNAMENT PLAY. A PLAYER WHO WANTS TO USE A CELL PHONE MUST BE AT LEAST ONE TABLE LENGTH AWAY FROM THEIR ASSIGNED TABLE OR BE SUBJECT TO PENALTY. NO CELL PHONES OR OTHER ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION DEVICE CAN BE PLACED ON A POKER TABLE.
  • A PLAYER EXPOSING THEIR CARDS WITH ACTION PENDING MAY INCUR A PENALTY, BUT WILL NOT HAVE A DEAD HAND. THE PENALTY WILL BEGIN AT THE END OF THE HAND. ALL PLAYERS AT THE TABLE ARE ENTITLED TO SEE THE EXPOSED CARD(S), IF REQUESTED. A PENALTY MAY ALSO BE IMPOSED IF A PLAYER THROWS A CARD OFF THE TABLE, VIOLATES THE ONE-PLAYER-TO-A-HAND RULE OR ENGAGES IN SIMILAR BEHAVIOR. PENALTIES WILL BE INVOKED IN CASES OF VERBALLY STATING ONE’S HAND DURING PLAY, SOFT-PLAY, ABUSE OR DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR. ALL PENALTIES WILL BE IMPOSED AT THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR’S DISCRETION.
