We’ve got big changes to our weekly tournament schedule starting on December 2nd at Lodge Card Club Austin.
Start times are changing. Guarantees are being increased. Less popular tournaments are being replaced. And structures are being tweaked.
All of these changes are based on feedback from our members (through surveys and in person) and/or historical tournament data.
Start Time Changes
Every one of our evening No Limit Hold’em tournaments will start at 6:15pm (1 hour earlier). This was one of the most requested changes.
The Big-O on Monday and the PLO Freeroll on Wednesday will stay at 7:15pm. We’re adding a No Limit Hold’em tournament at 6:15pm on those days (read on for details).
Increased guarantees
The legendary Tuesday Freeroll will now feature a $20,000 guarantee every single week. That’s a $5,000 increase.
The Thursday Freeroll is now a $12,000 guarantee (a $4,500 increase). We’ve also changed the structure of this tournament to match the Tuesday Freeroll ($20 rebuys/addons, up to 5 at once).
Registration Length Increase
The following evening tournament will now have 3 hours of registration (1 extra hour):
- Friday Freezeout
This change is to allow members to show up as late as 9:30pm without missing registration in these popular tournaments.
(We initially made this change to the Tuesday and Thursday freerolls as well, but player feedback led us to reverse that change.)

$100 buy-in, single re-entry
Wednesdays at 6:15pm:
Deep Stack Freezeout ($3,000 GTD)
$100 buy-in, $100 anytime add-on
Saturdays at 6:15pm:
Saturday Six Max ($5,000 GTD)
$150 buy-in
