“Big Daddy Chaz” has been a staple on the Lodge livestream for some time now, and always brings the action! He’s been a poker player ever since he was 18, and now resides in Texas still playing full time.

He can regularly be found playing stakes as high as $25/$50 and beyond at The Lodge and other poker rooms around Texas. His friendly and fun nature at the poker table always brings the laughs, and he’s never afraid to mix it up with some crazy plays! And he loves Funyuns!

What’s your favorite movie of all time?

“Definitely Sandlot!”

What’s your favorite snack at the poker table?

“It’s gotta be Funyuns!”

What are the top 3 poker rooms you’ve played at?

“I’d definitely say the Lodge first, I love coming here every monday. I also play at Rounders a lot down in San Antonio, and after that I’d say the Wynn in Las Vegas.”

If you could go back 15 years and talk to a younger version of yourself, what advice would you give yourself?

“When I was 18 I was playing poker for a living, strictly full time. I would tell myself to develop skills in other areas as well, to provide some supplementary income on the side, so that I wasn’t so reliant just on poker.”

What is the biggest degen bet you’ve ever made?

“I bet on the powerball for $5,000 a couple days ago with Shaun Deeb, and I lost 95% of it. That qualifies.

What is your biggest strength as a poker player?

“I really enjoy having a good time at the table and making sure other people have a good time, so I’d say my biggest strength is being friendly and social, as well as giving action!”

What is your favorite poker hand?

“Pocket Aces.”
