Another week, another lineup of big tournaments at the Lodge.
The top poker club in Texas saw the special $30K “Big One” added to the schedule this week. Ted Gomez came away as the biggest winner in that event, bagging $7,644 in prize money.
Gomez wasn’t the only one going home with a big payday for the week of Jan. 9-15:
$30K Guaranteed “The Big One Re-Entry” (Jan. 14)
The “Big One” awarded the biggest prize pool of any tournament at the Lodge this week. The 130-entry field generated $39,520 in prize money.
The tournament ended in a four-way ICM chop. The big winners included Ted Gomez (1st – $7,644), Samantha Perryman (2nd – $7,112), Walter Glasier (3rd – $6,683) and Mahesh Rathi (4th – $6,138).
Sunday $15K Guaranteed Deep Stack Freezeout (Jan. 15)
The Sunday Freezeout capped off the week with a big payday for each of the two final players. Ruth Hall (1st – $5,000) and Josh Beckenstein (2nd – $4,699) agreed to a heads-up ICM deal to end the event.
Other top finishers included Jacob Thompson (3rd – $3,755) and Cody Culp (4th – $2,075).
Monday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (Jan. 9)
The Monday Bounty finished with the final four players agreeing to an ICM deal.
Those players included Lance Kitrell (1st – $736), Brian McConnell (2nd – $621), Kiran Desai (3rd – $532) and Michael Eldridge (4th – $493).
Monday $3.5K Guaranteed Big-O (Jan. 9)
Jason Burruss came away with the outright win in the Monday Big-O, bagging a $1,908 payday in the process. Burruss topped a field of 95 players in the victory.
Other top finishers included Robert Rough (2nd – $1,183), Shawn Hallett (3rd – $833), and Samuel Creasy (4th – $604).
Tuesday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (Jan. 10)
The Tuesday $1K Guarantee Freezeout saw 37 players enter, creating a $2,146 prize pool.
The event ended with a three-way ICM chop. The big winners included Land Anderson (1st – $711), Cody Culp (2nd – $540) and Steven Ward (3rd – $536).
Wednesday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (Jan. 11)
The Wednesday night bounty event ended with the final three players agreeing to an ICM chop.
Those names included Stephen Vickrey (1st – $750), Aaron Sceales (2nd – $452), and Dun Zheng (3rd – $452).
Wednesday $5K Guaranteed PLO Freeroll (Jan. 11)
Wednesday’s PLO Freeroll never fails to go well over the $5,000 guarantee. This week was no exception, as 66 players came out to the Lodge, creating an $8,460 prize pool.
The tournament ended in a three-way ICM chop. The winners included Matthew Garvey (1st – $2,200), Robert Rough (2nd – $1,899) and Cody Culp (3rd – $1,899).
Thursday $7.5K Guaranteed “The Dirty Thirty Freeroll” (Jan. 12)
The Thursday Dirty Thirty drew 95 players, with the prize pool reaching $10,020.
The two players pictured in the winner’s photo below agreed to an ICM chop. Those names included James Fox (1st – $2,557) and Linoy Mathen (2nd – $2,313).
Other top finishers included Tyler Hoskins (3rd – $1,313) and Terry Morales (4th – $952).
Friday $2K Guaranteed Bounty (Jan. 13)
The Friday afternoon bounty event saw 67 players register, with the prize pool ending up at $3,417.
Bob Carl (1st – $1,022) and Paul Christensen (2nd – $800) agreed to a deal to end the tournament.
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (Jan. 13)
Selim Mahtab took down the Friday Freezeout, collecting a $2,586 payday for the win.
Other top finishers included Gregory Sariti (2nd – $1,601) and Vince Anchodo (3rd – $1,116). The tournament saw 86 players create an $8,084 prize pool, more than doubling the guarantee.
Saturday $4K Guaranteed Bounty (Jan. 14)
A total of 67 players came out for the Saturday $4K Guaranteed Bounty, with the prize pool finishing at $6,365.
The last three players standing agreed to an ICM deal. Those winners included Michael Robinson (1st – $1,715), William Barnes (2nd – $1,429), and Kylee Gallegos (3rd – $1,226).
Sunday Survivor (Jan. 15)
The Sunday Survivor awarded an even $820 to the six players that made it through to the final table.
That list included Wayne Xia, Jason Aguilar, Mahesh Rathi, Brandon Williams, Ruben Rodriguez, and Idan Werpoler.
