Christmas week at the Lodge saw plenty of tournament action, including a seven-way even chop in the Christmas night edition of the Sunday Freezeout.
As the Lodge looks ahead to the “Last Poker Series of 2022” Dec. 26-30, let’s take a look at the biggest winners from Dec. 19-25 at the Round Rock, TX poker club:
Tuesday $15K Guaranteed Freeroll (Dec. 20)
The Dec. 20 edition of the Tuesday $15K freeroll ended in a nine-way ICM deal at the final table.
That list of winners included Thomas Penza (1st – $2,622), Michael Hughes (2nd – $2,603), B. Karamzadeh (3rd – $2,439), Kevin Easterline (4th – $2,384) and Aaron Clepper (5th – $1,883).
Also in the final nine were Kenneth Glaser (6th – $1,599), Eli Gabirel (7th – $1,599), A. Robinson (8th – $1,311) and Charles Clayton (9th – $1,311).
The freeroll drew 135 entries for a $19,660 prize pool.
Wednesday $4K Guaranteed PLO Freeroll (Dec. 21)
The final six players in the Wednesday $4K Guaranteed Freeroll agreed to an ICM chop.
Finishing in the top six were Jimmy Ho (1st – $1,333), Mahesh Rathi (2nd – $1,246), Craig Mull (3rd – $889), Tim Gray (4th – $713), Samuel Creasy (5th – $558) and Kenneth Rogers (6th – $241).
Thursday $1K Guaranteed Over Stack (Dec. 22)
Pej Dargahi took the outright win in the Thursday Over Stack, bagging a $933 payday in the process.
Ronald Kim (2nd – $743) and Lance Kitrell (3rd – $568) rounded out the top three.
Thursday $7.5K “Dirty Thirty” Freeroll (Dec. 22)
Thursday’s $7.5K Guaranteed Dirty Thirty drew 86 players, creating a prize pool of $11,220.
The final nine players agreed to an ICM deal, including Matthew Bray (1st – $1,900), Roberto Ramirez (2nd – $1,300), Dominick Cervantes (3rd – $1,132), Siddhartha Khodour (4th – $1,132), and Frank Sill (5th – $1,132).
Also taking part in the chop were Larry Bennett (6th – $1,131), Amy Tekyl (7th – $1,131), Rashid Kabbani (8th – $1,131) and Jack Tarr (9th – $1,131).
Friday $2K Guaranteed Freezeout (Dec. 23)
The first of two Friday Freezeouts for Dec. 23 drew 43 players and a $3,268 prize pool.
Howard Hammerbeck (1st – $1,098), Lance Kittrell (2nd – $939) and Jason Aguilar (3rd – $592) ended the tournament with a three-way deal.
Friday $4K Guaranteed Freezeout (Dec. 23)
The second of the duo of Friday Freezeout tournaments on Dec. 23 ended in a four-way ICM chop.
Christopher Signaoff (1st – $1,609), Eduardo Salinas (2nd – $1,327), Sarah Cattan (3rd – $1,277) and Cole Deutch (4th – $808) agreed the the deal.
The tournament drew 68 players, creating a $6,392 prize pool.
Saturday $2K Guaranteed Deep Stack (Dec. 24)
The Saturday $2K Guaranteed Deep Stack ended in a five-way deal.
Darin Waggoner (1st – $720), Phillip Bisaillon (2nd – $679), Se Pak (3rd – $630), John Gideon (4th – $625) and Joshua Lowy finished as the top five.
The event drew 44 runners and finished with a $3,344 prize pool.
Saturday $4K Guaranteed Bounty (Dec. 24)
The Christmas Eve edition of the Saturday night bounty saw a $4,940 prize pool, with the final six players agreeing to an ICM chop.
That list of winners included Jonathan Lauderdale-Morrow (1st – $1,070), Mao-Chi Sun (2nd – $997), Alan Tran (3rd – $794), Thien Nguyen (4th – $712), Shane Roper (5th – $638) and Adam Braverman (6th – $579).
Sunday $1K Guaranteed Freezeout (Dec. 25)
The Christmas night edition of the Sunday Freezeout saw the final seven players agree to an even chop, with each player bagging $522.
The winners included Derwin Gavin, Adam Hamlin, Dennis Phillips, Jason Aguilar, Sharon Barth, Maximus Armani, and Lisa Nutt.
