Job Description
Manages and directs the poker operation of The Lodge Card Club (Company) on a per shift basis. Responds to questionable activities by employees or customers and takes appropriate action to correct the situation. Maintains integrity and security of all games, monies, and personnel. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. Promotes a customer-centric, friendly, and professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all aspects of poker room operations, ensuring adherence to Lodge Card Club policies by employees and customers.
- Ensures strict adherence to the Company standard operating procedures.
- Enforce game rules and maintain a fair and controlled game environment.
- Resolve player disputes and rule infractions with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Monitor player behavior and enforce all card club policies.
- Manage dealer rotations, monitor dealer performance, and adjust staffing levels based on business needs.
- Facilitate tournaments and input tournament data.
- Calculate tournament payouts and win conditions.
- Perform activities designed to provide quality customer service and establish guest perception of exceptional hospitality and friendliness.
- Reviews Surveillance footage to ensure the protection of customers, employees and company property.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned on as “as-needed” basis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the casino or card club industry as a dealer and/or floor manager (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of all poker rules and game variations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, delegate, and coach a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage players, dealers, and supervisors.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to stand for long periods and navigate a crowded environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
