We’re coming off the busiest weekend in the history of our club.
Through our $100K True Freeroll and numerous promotions, we gave away a lot of money to Lodge members…
…but we aren’t done yet.
Here’s what’s next at Lodge Card Club Austin.
1. Earn Comps ($1/Hour) for Our Upcoming Restaurant
Starting today, players will earn $1/hour comps when playing cash games at the club.
Note that comps do not accrue during free time periods and can not be used on any alcoholic beverages.
These comps can be used on snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and merchandise. But more importantly…
We’re introducing comps now so members can use them at Odds Bar & Bistro, our upcoming restaurant concept opening next door to the club.
What is Odds Bar & Bistro?
We’re collaborating with world-famous restaurateur and former Food Network host John Green to provide an innovative menu and craft cocktails to Round Rock.
Odds Bar & Bistro will operate as a separate business next door, with food and drink service provided to Lodge members while they play.
This won’t just be a typical poker room kitchen. You can read John’s interview with What’s Now Austin to learn more about the concept.
2. $500 Lucky Seats This Thursday & Friday (3-8PM)
On September 26th and 27th, we’re giving away $20,000 to active cash game players through “Lucky Seat” giveaways.
A $500 winner will be chosen at random every 15 minutes.
To give yourself a chance to win, all you have to do is play any cash game this Thursday and Friday between 3PM and 8PM.
These Lucky Seat giveaways were incredibly popular this past weekend (we gave away $35,000). We’re excited to run them back this week.
3. Our Sunday Football Promotion “Gridiron Giveaways” Has Been Extended to the Entire Season!
The slogan for this promotion is “Watch Football, Play Poker, Win Cash” because that’s exactly what Lodge members will be doing every Sunday all season long.
There are two facets to this promotion:
- Squares for a select noon game
- Scoring bonuses for select games at 3PM and 7PM
Cash prizes range from $100 to $500 (sometimes more if there’s a rollover).

4. More New Stuff for Pot Limit Omaha Players
In addition to the 11AM to 2PM free time we added this week, we’ve got a few more things in the works for PLO players.
- Monthly PLO stream on the Lodge YouTube channel
- Weekly PLO game on Fridays with me (Doug Polk) starting October 11th at noon
- New monthly PLO tournament (still working out the details, stay tuned)
5. Reminder: Free Time Extended
Morning free time has been extended to 7AM to 11AM daily (that’s one extra hour every morning).
Additionally, free time for Pot Limit Omaha and $1/$3+ No Limit games has been extended to 11AM – 2PM daily through October 25th.
